"Stopped on the recommendation of a cousin who went to a nearby college (20 years ago!). Nonplussed to see a sign by the door that said "No weapons", but it was a Friday afternoon, so... Decent draft beer selection, and I ordered a chicken cheesesteak (suggested by a friendly couple at the bar). Bartender was entertaining, and the beer was cold and fresh. Chicken cheesesteak was diced chunks, not wafered meat, and the roll was a bit dry at the ends, but it was quite tasty. Good place, would return."

"Very nice and cozy bar in downtown Wellsboro. The Gas Light has a nice menu focused on the standard bar fare. The burgers, wings, and onion rings we had were fantastic. They had a nice selection of beers on tap and the server was extremely friendly and checked on us often on a busy Saturday afternoon."

"We only stopped in for a drink and a couple apps. The picture of the mac and cheese bites and the fried shrimp do not do them justice. They were very good. Servicer was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely stop back in on our next trip though the cool little town."

"The bartender tall female i think she wore glasses very rude to costumers she was kicking people out left and right because I saw someone spill there drink and he cleaned it up but she let her power get the best of her and kicked him out then told everyone to leave August 23rd to be exact she wanted everyone to kiss her butt it's sad you cant just go have fun they had a great live singer but the bartender needs to relize it's a place of business you cant act like your the queen I won't be going back picking and choosing who you are nice to is wrong we could have not been any nicer to her she just is the average wellsboro bartender who let's her job go to her head she lost about 20 people that night im sure ron would not like that .he is a good guy and im sure he wouldn't like that he lost all that business cause she was being like that she needs to find a job that she doesn't work with people everyone had fun until then my God he cleaned it up she was getting tips after tips still not good enough she cant handle being a bartender I know alot of bartenders and they always try and please the crowd she was literally staring at us the whole night waiting for a mistake I dont like going there because of the bad attitude im trying to have fun not worry about am I gonna get kicked out she problem gota couple $ 100 in tips in the short time all of us while we're there I just want to say dang girl let us live your to controling"
